If you identify as a CLASSIC (SJ) but prefer to make decisions objectively, analyzing the facts and logical consequences more than relying on your personal experience and knowledge, then you are probably CLASSIC STRUCTURE. You tend to volunteer for committees, parent groups, and the like because being in charge of such things helps advance the position of your career and family. It's also easy for you so why not? You have no idea why more people don't volunteer like you do. What's easiest for you is being on time and organized; what's hardest is being tolerant of other people's tardiness & disorganization.

What's Easy

• Being put together and appropriately dressed for any occasion, finding fault with those who aren't.
• Being on time, not just because it’s important, but because it's the right thing to do.
• Getting work done before you play. It doesn't make sense to do it any other way.
• Planning ahead. You prefer to pack day(s) or weeks in advance of a trip because it is more efficient.
• Being in control of your environment and creating structure wherever you go (even in hotel rooms) because it's the smart thing to do.
• Making lists, getting things done, and crossing things off. It is the best way to get things done.
• Remembering people's birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Making sure your gifts and thank you notes arrive in a timely fashion because it's the right thing to do.
• Being dependable, responsible, and rarely late because it's wrong to keep people waiting and wastes their time.

What's Hard

• Splurging. You've been accused of being overly practical & thrifty (and right now you are probably thinking, "There is no such thing as being too practical or thrifty!").
• Perfection. You would rather get it done than have it perfect, especially if you are under a deadline. But if it's important, you will go to any logical length.
• Clutter if you don't have enough space to organize properly, or are forced to live in conditions that are not ideal (i.e., the cramped spaces of New York City apartments.)
• Passing up a deal, especially if it's functional and makes sense.
• You have trouble seeing the big picture, which means you tend to decorate your home caring more for function (and price) than for form. Always listen to your visual big picture friends — ORGANICS & SMARTS — when it comes to home decor or hire a professional.
• Tolerance for people who are late, forget birthdays or don't call you back right away.
